Overview

All three apps run inside Canva. None of them ask you to create a separate Codebits account, and none of them are in the business of collecting personal data — the sections below explain exactly what each app does (and doesn't) handle, including how each one is paid for.

DepthLoop

What we collect

Photos you upload while using DepthLoop are held in your browser's memory only during the editing session and are never transmitted to our servers. Video rendering happens locally in your browser; the finished video is temporarily stored only as an intermediary step for delivery back into Canva, then automatically deleted. We keep standard server logs (IP address, browser information) for security purposes for up to 30 days.

Pricing & billing

DepthLoop gives every Canva user 10 free video exports. Continuing past that requires upgrading to DepthLoop Pro, a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited exports. Checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and merchant of record — they collect and process your payment details (name, email, card information) directly. Codebits never sees or stores your card details; Lemon Squeezy shares only your order confirmation and email with us so we can grant Pro access.

Third-party services

DepthLoop relies on Canva (Australia) for the design platform, Cloudflare (US/Global) for infrastructure, and Lemon Squeezy for payment processing when you upgrade to Pro. We don't sell your information to anyone.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, or object to how it's processed, by emailing support@codebits.dev. We respond within 30 days.

DepthText

What we collect

DepthText does not collect or store personal information, such as your name, email address, or payment details, and it doesn't use cookies or other tracking technologies. All your work is processed locally in your browser or through the Canva integration, and is never transmitted to our servers.

Pricing & billing

DepthText's basic 3D text effects are free for every Canva user. Premium effects are available only to Canva Premium subscribers. Because this upgrade is part of your existing Canva subscription, billing is handled entirely by Canva — Codebits never collects or sees your payment information for DepthText.

Canva integration

DepthText integrates with Canva to enhance your design experience. Please review Canva's privacy policy for information on how they handle your data.

MotionText

What we collect

MotionText does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information. Animation files (GIF or video) are briefly retained on secure servers only to enable embedding back into Canva during your design session — they contain no personal identifiers and delete automatically shortly after. We may collect anonymous, aggregated metrics on template popularity and feature usage to improve the app; this data contains no personal identifiers, and no cookies or third-party trackers are used.

Pricing & billing

MotionText is fully bundled inside Canva Premium — it's only accessible to Canva Premium subscribers, and there is no separate Codebits purchase or billing flow. Your subscription and payment details are managed entirely by Canva.

Canva integration

The app functions solely within Canva's ecosystem. Authentication and design work happen through Canva exclusively — we never access your Canva account, files, or associated data.

Cookies & tracking

None of our apps use cookies or third-party tracking mechanisms. Everything above runs inside the Canva editor, and we don't run analytics scripts that follow you outside of it.

Children's privacy

Our apps are not designed for users under the age of 13. Since we don't collect personal data in the first place, there's nothing to gather from younger users either.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically as our apps evolve — for example, if we introduce new premium features that change how billing works. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date, and we'll give advance notice for anything that affects billing.
